About this Product
I used a large canvas at 24" square to build this still life painting on. I painted TYVEK with sunflower colors before melting them into the shapes you see. NOT an easy task but I wanted lots of textures. I made the two long beads you see at the bottom left.
I made the gelli prints for the vase. Used texture paste and gel mediums for all the textures.

Meet the Maker
Sue is an artist living in the Blue Ridge Mountains of SW Virginia, Salem to be exact. She has painted most of her life and hopes to be painting when she passes. She has dabbled in all the mediums and currently enjoys collage. Preferring to stay indoors, since the heat has gotten so bad, in the autumn or spring she still enjoys plein aire painting.
