About this Product
This generous round bodied mug was formed on a potter's wheel using a red stoneware clay that fires to a toasty brown. Layers of complimentary glazes that melt in perfect harmony were applied to create the beachy surface, while a clean white glaze is applied to the interior.
Perfect for any time of the day, whether you are having your morning coffee or evening tea. The generous handle and thumb rest is designed to fit comfortably in your hands.
Height: 3.75"
Width at opening: 3.75"
Capacity: 2.25 cups
As with all ceramic products this mug must be handled carefully. Although I hire-fire for added durability, potteriy is prone to cracks if dropped or knocked. Microwave and dishwasher safe, but gentle handwashing is recommended. Avoid temperature shock by heating things slowly, evenly and carefully

Meet the Maker
Hello! My name is Linda Moeser and I like to play with clay
How it’s Made
Creamy white stoneware is formed ‘thrown’ on my potter’s wheel. I form/pull a handle and attach it to the pot when the clay has reached a stiff ‘leather hard’ stage. Thumb rest and bottom embellishment is added. When completely dry the mug is fired first to cone 06 (approximately 1830 degrees) in my electric kiln. After completely cooled it is then glazed…sometimes dipped, sometimes brushed, occasionally sprayed, maybe all three! Fired again to cone 6 (approximately 2,232 degrees)
