Please note that colors can vary in real life from what you or I am seeing on a computer or other device. They can be particularly brighter looking online due to the backlighting. The colors will be close, but may not be exact.
My cards are substantial and can be heavy, dimensional and of odd sizes. For this reason, it may cost more for you to mail them. An envelope made to fit the card will be included with your purchase. To protect any front embellishments and your card, I recommend mailing it in a padded envelope, within a package or hand delivering it.
Elsi Reed
Meet the Maker
Naming my shop Elsi Reed is a nod to my little brother who passed away a few years ago. He was always a fan of my creativity and was particularly fond of my handmade greeting cards, often requesting special makes for his needs. His name isn't Elsi, nor is mine — we aren't even Reeds. One of the ways he liked to pass his time and socialize was playing online games. Playing these games from his home in Deer Isle, he used the moniker Elsi Reed. Deer Isle spelled backwards is Elsi Reed. Clever guy. I like to think he's still cheering me on from above.
How it’s Made
Cards start as plain cardstock and go from there.
Images are line art printed or stamped or die cut shapes and then colored by me. I use inks, markers and colored pencils to color with.
Finishing touches can be more ink, more die cuts, sequins, gems, etc.
Shop Policies
Most products will ship within 1-2 business days.
After making a purchase, keep an eye on your messages in case I need to reach you to verify something, especially if a special request was made.
Returns/Refunds:
Buyer's remorse or not what you were expecting? Returns are accepted if notified within 3 days of receipt of the product.
Shipping cost of returns will be at the expense of the buyer and refunds will be for the product only, not shipping paid. Refund will only be made once I've received the item back in the same condition it was sent to you.
Cancellations: Cancel within 4 hours of ordering and only if you haven't yet received notice of shipment. If you receive a notice of shipment, that means it's packaged and gone to the shipper.
