About this Product
Tatted lace earrings handmade in hand dyed thread from my own design with hand formed earwires of niobium. The pattern is called "Cocoon" and is available in the book "Marilee's Beaded Tatting Finery" which is another listing in my shop as an instant download.
I designed and made these using high quality cotton thread that I hand dyed myself, making the lace with the shuttle tatting method. The earrings dangle about 2 inches long below the earwires. The lace has been treated with a fabric stiffener to help it keep its shape.
I formed the earwires myself from niobium, an inert metal that is hypoallergenic and excellent for sensitive ears.
If lace jewelry becomes dirty over time, hand wash gently in sudsy water, rinse, re-shape, and lay out to dry.
The earrings arrive in a white gift box wrapped with ribbon within a shipping box.

I’ve been tatting since 1975, and designing and selling tatted jewelry since 2004. I teach 2 tatting courses on Craftsy, and my work has appeared in magazines such as Bead&Button, Belle Armoire Jewelry, and Artistonish.
