About this Product
This listing is for the PDF pattern only, not the actual tatted item or a printed pattern.
You need to know the basics of tatting in order to follow this pattern, as it does not include any basic tatting instruction. This is my original design which I have prepared in PDF format.
Suitable for experienced tatters, techniques for the ginkgo leaf motif include rings, picots, chains, joins, lock join, Catherine Wheel join, self-closing mock ring, floating rings, folded rings, split rings, and Josephine chain. Although it may be tatted using either needle or shuttle, the instructions and photos are shown from the shuttle tatting perspective only.
Additional techniques used in the beaded version are bead in center of self-closing mock ring, and bead picots. There are directions for making a pendant in size 10 or 20 thread, and earrings in size 40 thread.
The 5 page file includes:
*Written instructions in English,
*In-progress photos,
*Materials list.
There are no diagrams in this pattern.
