You need to know the following tatting techniques to be able to make this intermediate level project:
-ring
-chain
-picot
-join
-lock join
-split ring
-dimpled ring (for the earrings only)
This is my original creation which I have prepared in PDF format. My design was featured in the magazine "Belle Armoire Jewelry" Winter 2015. This is a more detailed version, with complete directions and diagrams for the bracelet and earrings as well as the necklace motif.
The 9 page file includes:
*Written instructions in English for necklace, bracelet, and earrings
*List of supplies needed,
*In-progress photographs,
*Diagrams with stitch counts
Although it may be tatted using either needle or shuttle, the instructions and photos are shown from the shuttle tatting perspective only.
Materials you will need:
- 2 tatting shuttles
- Small steel crochet hook (for joins)
- Crochet cotton size 10
- Beading needle, wide-eye or collapsible eye
- Embroidery needle to sew in ends: size 3
- Small paper clip or coiless safety pin
- Seed beads size 8°: 84
- Round beads size 6mm: 4
- Jewelry findings of your choice
