About this Product
This listing is for the PDF pattern only, not the actual tatted item or a printed pattern.
You need to know the basics of how to tat in order to follow this pattern, as it does not include any basic tatting instruction. This is my original design which I have prepared in PDF format.
Suitable for advanced beginner to intermediate level tatters, the only techniques used are those that can be done using one shuttle and a ball of thread. Needle tatters will enjoy this pattern too. The doily is made in 11 rounds, with tie/hide/cut between rounds.
When finished in size 30 crochet cotton, the doily measures about 10 inches (26cm) across. In size 20 Lizbeth thread it is about 10 and 1/2 inches. Any size thread can be used resulting in a larger or smaller doily.
The final 2 rounds tend to ruffle while tatting, but will lay flat when blocked into shape.
The 4 page file includes:
*Written instructions in English,
*6 step-by-step diagrams with stitch counts written on them.
Techniques used are rings, chains, picots, normal joins, lock joins, and some Celtic style overlapping of motifs (but there's no interweaving involved).
PLEASE NOTE: You are purchasing the pattern only. The design copyright remains with me.
You may sell or give away items that you make using this pattern, but you may NOT distribute the pattern itself anywhere.
