You need some tatting experience to be able to follow this pattern, as it does not include any basic tatting instruction. This is a 2 shuttle pattern which I have designed and prepared in PDF format. Although it may be tatted using either needle or shuttle, the instructions and photos are shown from the shuttle tatting perspective only.
The 3 page file includes:
*Written instructions in English,
*List of supplies needed,
*In-progress photographs,
*A photo with stitch counts written on it.
Techniques used include rings, picots, chains, bead picots on chains, node stitch (also called Victorian sets or zigzag tatting), and lock join.
Materials you will need:
- 2 tatting shuttles
- Small steel crochet hook (for joins)
- About 6 yards size 20 crochet thread
- 22 seed beads size 11°
- Earring findings or jewelry findings of your choice
