You need to know the basics of tatting to be able to follow this pattern, as it does not include any basic tatting instruction. This is an intermediate level, two shuttle pattern which I have designed and prepared in PDF format. No beads are used in this pattern as written. Although it may be tatted using either needle or shuttle, the instructions and photos are shown from the shuttle tatting perspective only.
The 2 page file includes:
*Written instructions in English,
*In-progress photographs.
No diagram in this pattern. The heart may be made with or without the outer round.
Techniques used include rings, picots, chains, joins, lock joins, and floating rings (rings thrown off of a chain).

I’ve been tatting since 1975, and designing and selling tatted jewelry since 2004. I teach 2 tatting courses on Craftsy, and my work has appeared in magazines such as Bead&Button, Belle Armoire Jewelry, and Artistonish.
