About this Product

This listing is for the PDF pattern only, not the actual tatted item or a printed pattern.

You need to know the basics of tatting in order to follow this pattern, as it does not include any basic tatting instruction. This is my original design for a necklace with beads, inspired by a vintage pattern for a collar. I have prepared my pattern in PDF format.

This pattern is recommended for experienced tatters. Although it may be tatted using either needle or shuttle, the instructions and photos are shown from the shuttle tatting perspective only. There is not a needle tatting version.

Techniques include: ring, chain, picot, join, lock join, bead picots, bead inside of ring, beads over a picot, folded join. Front side/back side tatting is shown but is optional.

Supplies needed include: 1 tatting shuttle, steel crochet hook 12/1.00 mm to 14/0.75 mm, collapsible eye beading needle for bead stringing, embroidery needle to sew in the thread tails, scissors, size 20 Lizbeth or similar thread with thickness measuring about 19 wraps per centimeter, size 15 seed beads, one 6mm round bead, one 4mm round bead, and size 11 seed beads. Additional beads may be needed depending on choice of finishing.

The 10 page file includes:

*Written instructions in English

*Diagrams with stitch counts

*In-progress photos

PLEASE NOTE: You are purchasing the pattern only. The design copyright remains with me.

You may sell or give away items that you make using this pattern, but you may NOT distribute the pattern itself anywhere.
