CROCHET BASKET PURSE
Decided to sit one night and just crochet - and came up with this little beauty
It is crocheted with a dark forest green cotton thread with teal green stripes ~ I accented it with 3 pompoms in forest, teal and aqua and added crochet streamers of teal and aqua ~ It is lined with a funky paisley vintage fabric of lime, white, teal, brown, aqua and peach ~ There are two good sized pockets on one side
This is supposed to have a flat bottom in an oval shape, which it sort of does, but being so much bigger at the bottom than the top, it ripples - and so now it holds a lot!
Base: 5 ½” x 7 ½”
Body when flat: 7” tall
Across bottom: 11 ½”
Across top: 10”
Handles: 3 ½” x 1 ¼” opening

Meet the Maker
I am a mom of 2 and Grandma to 3 precocious little ones! I have crafted my entire life (Thanks, MOM!) and worked the last 16 years in a Tailoring Shop. Now that I am retired, it is time to share my stash of "creations". I sew, knit, crochet and embroider mostly, although I have dabbled in painting some wood crafts and am attempting some jewelry creations. I am an active "scavenger" for vintage fabric, trims, buttons, beads, buckles, baubles and other odd items to use in my creations. Because of this, I rarely make the same item twice the same way. I feel this ensures a type of personalization for each unique customer!
