We have the Monarch fairy in a bluebonnet dress: the quintessential Texas girl, with a fun, flirty dress, ranging from blue to white like the state flower. She pairs it with a cowboy hat and boots, and a large belt with a turquoise buckle. She has leave orange wings like those odd a monarch butterfly, and encompasses the feeling of Texas.
Indian paintbrush fairy: Wild and unstoppable we have the lovely Indian paint brush fairy with her long firey dress that mimics the petals of her flower topped with a green kirtle.
Sunflower fairy: based on a lovely lady (called renfairlas) the sunflower fairy is sunny, elegant, and delightfully medieval. A sunflower petal skirt, and leafy green wings perfect for both princess and fairy.
Texas pecan dragon: known as the first place pecan pies started showing up in recipe books the giant beautiful trees are hard to miss. Equally hard to miss if the large bumbling pecan dragon lumbering through the land.
The prickly pear dragon is often mistaken for the cactus, as it grows flowers along within the seasons. Many are confused by its bright colors, soft shapes and prickly spikes, unsure if they should approach or not (usually it’s better not to). Although it has a pretty docile nature, when threatened or scared those spikes can, and will, go flying.
The blue topaz Golem is truly Texan with his long horns stretching from his head and speckled with blue topaz making it’s way through the clay

How it’s Made
I start off painting each element/character with watercolor. I then digitize the image and heat press it to the individual items.
