Thanksgiving DIY Cracker Basket Kit
Set the family table with a gorgeous pine needle cracker basket, made by you. It makes the perfect size for rolls, crackers, bread sticks or other of family favorites.

? 8" x 2.5" Thanksgiving themed center on 1/8" hardwood, set in epoxy resin on front and back, holes drilled for stitching.
? Bundle of natural Florida long leaf pine needles
? Choice of any one in-stock 2oz spool of WAXED THREAD
(Recommended colors: Natural, Orange, Yellow, Mahogany, Olive
? Two copper coiling gauges, 1/4" and 3/8" diameter

Meet the Maker
Hello from Florida. I'm Barb Nelson, owner/operator of Pine Needle Basket Supplies, aka Artgal's Studio. You may have seen me on Etsy or Facebook.
A Florida resident since 1974, I attended the Art Institute of Ft Lauderdale and hold degrees in Advertising Design and Fashion Illustration. I spent most of my career as Senior Art Director for the S.E. Regional Division of Belk Dept Stores where I designed and produced catalogs and directed photo shoots. Later, I worked as Creative Director for a national outdoor advertising company.
In recent years I discovered pine needle basketry. I now enjoy teaching others at venues throughout the southeast.
In 2007 I began selling dyed and natural Florida long leaf pine needles online and at craft shows. This naturally evolved into making other supplies and accessories for basketry and gourd art.
