Meet the Maker
Hi! My name is Rachel and I'm the Painted Zebra! I am a self taught artist and life long dreamer! I absolutely love being creative and getting swept away by the creative process. I am constantly challenging my own imagination- I thrive in the "what ifs" and "Just go for it!" where art comes to life! And that is how I became a hat designer; by turning a "What if..." dream into a small business!
Each of my creations: Hats, hatbands, key chains, earrings, totes and pouches are one of a kind pieces. As such, my shop will be ever changing! Thank you for checking out my shop!

Shop Policies
Thank you for shopping at The Painted Zebra! I really appreciate your support of my art! Each of my pieces are handmade one of a kind creations, as such my policies are as follows:
Orders will be processed and shipped in 3-5 business days.
Custom orders are not available at this time.
Returns are not accepted.
If your package is lost or damaged during shipping, please contact me as soon as possible to discuss our options.
I will provide you with a tracking number once your item has shipped.
Hat & Tote bag care:
A dust cover will be supplied with your wide brimmed hat. If necessary a soft brush is best to gently remove dust. Hats are not waterproof. Spot clean with damp neutral colored cloth or cotton swab at your own risk. Please be advised that if spot cleaning is done on a painted surface some of the design may be removed. If done on light colored hats, this may result in water marks.
Key chains:
These are one of my favorite pieces! They are my way of cutting waste by repurposing my hatband scraps. As such, they are purposely designed to be shabby chic. This means there may be loose strings from the unfinished fabric and the appearance of the keychain will change as it is used.
