"The Flyfisher" is a painting that captures a moment of tranquility and connection with nature, depicting a friend flyfishing in the rivers of Maine. The scene unfolds with the shimmering water reflecting light and a lush, green forest framing the backdrop. This is a piece that sat unfinished for 18 months due to artist's block. When the right inspiration started flowing again, it was completed in just 4 days! Sometimes art has its' own timeline and I am thrilled to finally present this labor of love. I hope it brings a sense of peace and the beauty of the natural world to those who view it.

Meet the Maker
I am a proud lifelong Maine resident who recently retired from a busy Purchasing career and am now embracing the opportunity to reignite my creative passions. I live on a little pond with a big flower garden and a little kitty who loves to hide among the hostas! My many loves include painting, using Alcohol Inks or Acrylics. These mediums allow me to express my ever-evolving ideas using vibrant colors and abstract shapes. I also love making sparkly suncatchers that bring light and color to any space and can cheer up just about anyone by casting little rainbows and bits of light everywhere. Another fun thing I love creating are the beachy trinket dishes - which brings the ocean to you, even on the darkest winter day. Above all, my goal is to create anything that brings a smile to others' faces, whether through my art or my small fun creations. I am excited to spend my days diving into these artistic pursuits, forever learning and sharing my work with others.
How it’s Made
This print was originally done on canvas with Acrylics. The original has since been sold, but the giclee' prints are professionally printed on Archival high quality fine art paper using the highest quality Archival pigmented inks, ensuring exceptional longevity and quality.
Prints are 8 x 10 and matted with a quality 11 x 14 white mat and backboard and enclosed into a clear plastic sleeve for protection.

Shop Policies
Processing time: Items will be processed within 2-3 business days upon receipt of order.
Returns: I gladly accept returns, exchanges, or cancellations. I will need to be contacted within 5 business days of receipt of order.
Returns or exchanges must be shipped back within 10 business days after contacting me. Returned items must be received in original condition.
Repackage accordingly please. Upon inspection, if the item(s) are not received in original condition, a refund will not be issued.
The buyer is responsible for all return shipping costs.
Note: Cancellations must be reported to me no later than 24 hours after placing the order so that shipping the order out is avoided.
