From the Gasparilla Signature Collection! Get this Gorgeous One-of-a-Kind Green, Gold & Black Copper open collar statement piece necklace. You can wear this with anything – your Gasparilla Pirate Garb, Formal Dress, Casual Wear – really with anything you want to scream STATEMENT PIECE!!! Also, the skulls can certainly come off if you prefer not to wear the skulls for a particular event or occasion. I will include directions at your request.
The wire is pure copper with a tarnish resistant coating for the Beautiful Colors. The Skulls are alloy metal, rhinestones, Swarovski crystals for eyes and painted by me eyepatches. The open collar necklace is approximately 24 ½” in length and almost ¾” in width. The Skulls are approximately 4 ¾” in length and approximately 3” in width. You will find a brilliant wire weave of green copper wire that goes around your neck area and will drip down each side. With beautiful wire weaves and swirlies with the skulls attached as the focal point of this open collar necklace.

Meet the Maker
Hello Loves & Welcome to my Shop! I am Missy and I am a self taught metal artist. I have been doing this for only about a year and a half (as of September 2021). It all started during quarantine. I really thought that I needed to step up my game from my "Gasparilla" type of jewelry that I have been creating with beading, painting, gluing etc. (Gasparilla is Tampa, Florida's version of Mardi Gras) However, with Covid our parades and socials were cancelled or at a very minimum level. This did not provide for too many sales above and beyond my usual friends that always support me. I thought I would have to get a real job, which was difficult during Covid. To avoid this and being able to keep doing what I love, I deeply researched a lot of different mediums and I finally settled on metal, but the fabulous metal Copper really stood out. I just fell in LOVE. My boyfriend, Rusty, is always asking me to get out of my art studio, which is currently just a fancy name for my dining room and sometimes kitchen, and God Bless him I rarely do. Remember I said I was in Love and when I say I pour a lot of love into each and every piece - I really mean it! You should definitely feel it if you are intuitive like that!
In my prior life, I was in the hotel industry for about 25 years - Sales Manager, Director of Catering, Director of Sales - I truly loved it but I got burned out and started to try other industries - paralegal, retail, construction (in the office with A/C, of course). Nothing settled, until Rusty went back to owning his construction company. I just scored an at home job, it was beautiful. Even though I spend A LOT of time in my "Art Studio", I still have time to do things for him here and there. He has been so supportive - he doesn't even question my new tools, that I usually get from our construction company since this department is the largest profit center in our household. He just goes and buys more. I am Super Blessed & Very Grateful!!!
