Please note: At the time of creating the listing, I have TWO of these items available. The one you receive may have the placement of the motifs arranged differently. The fabric, wool and snaps are identical.
Floss and thread, not just the special kind can be expensive. A floss keeper/thread bed is the perfect solution for keeping those last inches of floss safe while waiting to be used for a few more stitches.
My floss keepers/thread beds are made with care, I use poly batting for the inside base, it's fibers hold on to thread very well. The batting has been anchored to the pretty outside fabric using a fusible adhesive which helps give the item structure. In the center of the floss keeper/thread bed, you'll find a nice sized piece of 100% wool to hold your needles. The outer fabric has been wrapped around to "bind" the item, with mitered corners for a nice professional touch.
As a finishing touch, the floss keeper/thread bed closes with a Kam snap in a color that compliments the fabric.
The size in the listing is 8" high by 8" wide when open....8" by 4" when closed.

Welcome to my shop!
I've done a bit of everything over the years, but nothing feeds my soul like fabric. My hubby and I are retired from "corporate life" and I love to spend my days in my studio playing with fabric. I found my niche for "project bags" by accident. In May of 2020 I started making them as a whim to help organize my cross stitch and wool applique projects....who knew I would sell well over 1500 of them online and in person since then. It's such a fun, creative outlet and gives me a great excuse to buy "fun" fabric.
Several of the items I sell came as a special request from customers. I'm always up for the challenge if you see something you like but would like it to be changed up a bit to serve your specific needs.
