About this Product
A sweet gift for young and old these tic-tac-toe bags are hand made and plant dyed. The soft warm pink/tan of the bag comes from avocado dye. The floral patterns are hammer dyed with a variety of flowers and herbs. And the hashtag for the playing of the game are achieved through painting the lines on with iron mordant. A funky collection of vintage buttons and beads will make the playing fun time and time again.

Meet the Maker
Hi, I’m Megan and things are a little quacky here!
Ducks Never Waver started when I was going through severe health issues and one day I saw some ducks swimming in frigid water, doing their thing, just excited to be ducks. I decided I wanted that, maybe not to be a literal duck, but to be creative and have a beauty filled life! I’ve been doing fiber arts since I was 9 and I am still so excited about creating one of a kind pieces! Always keeping comfort and ease in mind, I’ll throw in an nod to ancient crafts, bold color combos, or an eclectic use of materials that make you go “mmmhhmm that’s a bit quacky!”
My hope for my products is that they express the beauty that God has created and show the healing quality of art for the maker and you!
How it’s Made
Cotton is treated with alum mordant and then dyed pink with avocado skins and pits. Then is hammer dyed with a medley of botanicals before being sewn into a drawstring bag. Buttons and beads were found at a second hand store.
