ABOUT TITANIUM: Titanium is a strong, lightweight metal that has a beautiful gunmetal silver tone. It does not discolor or tarnish, and does not require polishing like sterling silver. Titanium is considered the most biocompatible metal since it does not react with body tissue, and has a variety of medical and surgical applications. It is naturally hypoallergenic and safe for sensitive ears.

Meet the Maker

I’m Nicole, owner of Jesse & Josie Designs! I’m a graphic designer and jewelry maker living in the Raleigh, North Carolina area. I love creating earrings that are beautiful, well-crafted and safe to wear.

Somewhere between 10% and 20% of people suffer from metal allergies – that's as many as one in five people. As someone with metal allergies myself, I am passionate about providing trustworthy, allergy-safe alternatives. I started creating my own allergy-friendly designs in 2022 using pure titanium components and wanted to share them with others. My mission is to make comfortable earrings that anyone can wear (or gift) without worry.

I use grade 1 titanium in my earring designs because of its unique properties, and it's the only metal I use in my earrings. Titanium is highly biocompatible, meaning it won't react with your body tissue, making it ideal for sensitive ears. I often combine it with materials like polymer clay, resin, glass, and stone to create pieces that are both stylish and functional.
