Meet the Maker

Welcome – I’m Julie

My journey into cardmaking began in 2016 with a simple but heartfelt decision: to create a handmade card for an 80th birthday celebration at our church. While I had dabbled in scrapbooking, cardmaking was new to me — and that first project sparked a love for crafting small, meaningful pieces of art that could be shared.

What started as a hobby quickly grew into something more. Friends and community members began requesting custom cards for their loved ones, each one unique and personal. With their encouragement, I began offering my creations for sale — and what a joy it's been! Every card I make is designed with a specific person in mind, turning a simple greeting into a keepsake.

As a disabled stay-at-home wife of 29 years, and mom to two grown daughters, a wonderful son-in-law, and two beautiful grandchildren, this creative journey has brought a sense of purpose and connection into my life. It’s a way for me to express love, creativity, and care — and to help others do the same through the cards they give.

Thank you for visiting, and for supporting handmade art that comes from the heart. I’m so glad you’re here.

"Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters." Colossians 3:23

How it’s Made

This card has a white base layered with white cardstock that is embossed with a brick pattern to add texture and ink blended to create a slightly gray appearance. The elements are die-cut from various cardstock to form the scenery. The sentiment reads “To the grill master” and was created using a Cricut machine, while the inside sentiments are hand-stamped with either black or red ink. You can choose between “Happy Birthday” or “Happy Father’s Day”. Below the sentiment is a spatula for additional detail.
