About this Product
This little pumpkin is full of character! With its crooked stem, carved triangular eyes, and big toothy grin, this small Raku luminary is ready to light up your Halloween nights. The warm, smoky glaze tones and unique crackle effects of the Raku process give it a one-of-a-kind charm—no two are ever alike. Place a tea light or small candle inside, and watch its playful glow dance through the carved features, bringing a perfectly spooky-sweet touch to your autumn evenings. Stands at 7 inches tall.

Meet the Maker
Hi, I’m Paula Bowers! I’ve been creating pottery for over 12 years, drawing inspiration from the rich history of South Carolina ceramics, the natural beauty of our family farm, and the music that moves me.
My work is all about joy—whimsical, functional pieces designed to be used and loved every day, yet crafted with the care and quality to last a lifetime.

How it’s Made
? How It’s Made
Hand-built from clay slabs and carefully shaped into a small pumpkin form.
Facial features are cut out by hand, giving each luminary its own unique personality.
Fired once in a bisque kiln to harden.
Glazed and then Raku-fired: pulled from the kiln at nearly 1800°F and placed into a reduction chamber filled with combustible materials.
The flames and smoke react with the glaze, creating dramatic crackles, smoky patches, and metallic accents that make each pumpkin completely unique.
