About the piece:
A Turtle in thought: The turtle is not just a creature, but a powerful symbol of strength, endurance, and the beauty of life's continuity. With its wide eyes and carefree demeanor, it embodies the wisdom of the animal kingdom. Let's take a page from the turtle's book and learn to move at our own pace, appreciating the simple joys of daily life. By accepting things as they come and gracefully moving forward, we can find harmony just like the turtle. Even in our dreams, the presence of a turtle signifies a positive change or progress. However, if we see turtles in a negative light, it might indicate a fear of taking responsibility or facing reality. Yet, let's not forget that the turtle represents longevity and quiet strength.

Meet the Maker
Hi, I'm Charles and I am a self-taught artist-painter-maker. I live with my sweet wife here in the Ozark Mountains. Most of my inspiration is drawn from nature, as well as the strange and mysterious. I enjoy exploring new styles when creating interesting landscapes, patterns, unusual creatures; many times with splashes of humor. In addition to acrylic painting, I also create wood carvings, wood burning and building other crafts.
How it’s Made
