Jumping or skipping rope is one of the best physical activities for children & adults.
Again, we like to see kids use their imagination!
Jumping Rope strengthens the arms and shoulders.
Better than running for knees, even weight distribution. -
Obviously not for children under 3 years of age.
Each item has a product card attached with the history of jumping rope.
The rope length is determined by height: Less than 5 feet - 7 ft rope is desirable.
We can custom the rope length for your height...just let us know.

Meet the Maker
John's knowledge of wood came from years of working in the furniture industry in NC. Sadly, the doors closed for all of the local companies. What began as dabbling in making different wood items as a hobby became a small business. We have made hand-crafted toys, games & puzzles for 25-30 years - and from the beginning, we knew that the "right thing to do" was to use wood & paint (mfg. in USA) that are "lead-free" & safe for children. There is life after retirement! We have been blessed beyond measure & would never have dreamed of the opportunities that would come our way.
How it’s Made
Maple wooden, American made clear varnish handles -
Hole is bored through the handle.
Handles approximately 4 inches long.
Rope is sold braided nylon.
The ends of the nylon rope are heated to avoid unraveling.
The rope is threaded through the handles and knotted.
The knot is partially hidden in the recessed hole.
