This beautiful, delicate ceramic luminary is hand carved into an organic tree shape. It is light and beautiful, and comes with a battery operated tea light, to show its incredible beauty in the dark. It’s glazed to look like a beautiful grove of birch trees.
It is about 4 inches tall, and 4 inches across.
It’s so delicate and beautiful, it will become a favorite piece in your home, or on your porch or patio. It would also be a lovely night light. Definitely a one-of-a-kind piece.

Meet the Maker
Hello! I’m Carrie, the face behind Meandering Stream Ceramics! I took my first pottery class in January 2023, and was hooked. Now I need to sell some pieces to make room in my house, and to support my habit. ;) I’m often inspired by nature and the colorful world we live in.
My day job is teaching singing lessons! Music is my first passion. My husband is also a musician - we met in music school! Our family is rounded out with our 2 adult kids, and our rescue doggo Bailey. We live in the far west burbs of Chicago, but have family connections to Northern Michigan and Newfoundland, Canada. I am often inspired, and awed, by the beauty of where we grew up.
How it’s Made
This piece was thrown on the pottery wheel, and then once it had partially dried, patiently and carefully carved to look like a grove of trees. Multiple layers of glaze were applied by hand to get the beautiful, flowy, birch tree look.

I suggest hand washing items, but most are dishwasher and microwave safe, unless otherwise stated in the item listing.
