“Tree On Wildflower Hill”
This photo meditation candle was created on an early morning hike I made in Richland County which is in the heart of the lovely Driftless Area of Wisconsin. As I traversed along a fence line I came upon this beautiful meadow filled with late summer wildflowers running up the side of the hill where they encountered this solitary tree surrounded by slowly drifting clouds. After photographing the scene I lingered quite a while meditating on the divinely inspired beauty of this place. This unscented photo candle measures 8 inches by 2.25 inches and has a burn time of approximately 70 hours. Photo candle can be illuminated either by flame or by window light.

Meet the Maker
My name is Gregory Bleck. I'm an award-winning photographer and a past recipient of the "Wisconsin Photographer of the year award". My wife Peggy and I live on the edge of southwest Wisconsin’s “Driftless Area” , a place of beautiful rolling hills and secluded rural back roads often referred to as “God's country”. We love using candles to display my photographs because, as the candle burns, it illuminates and animates the photograph in ever-changing ways heightening the experience of meditation on God's created beauty.

Shipping
Orders usually ship within 3-5 business days and are carried out by USPS. Upon shipping, you will receive a confirmation email containing the tracking number. Please note, estimated shipping times are from the time of shipping, not the time of order. Photo & Flame is not responsible for any shipping delays that USPS encounters.
Additionally, Photo & Flame only ships orders between Monday and Friday. Orders placed on Friday will ship out the following Monday.
Candle Maintenance
If you have purchased a candle be sure you trim the wicks to 1/4 inch, but take care not to trim them too short; otherwise, the wax might overwhelm the wick. Once you discover the right length, maintain it for subsequent burns. Keep the wick trimmed and let the wax create a complete melt pool (melted to all edges) before extinguishing. Always place your candles on flat surfaces, away from anything flammable, drafts, fans, and similar items. Our 8 inch candles last approximately 70 hours.
Recycling / Reusing
To remove the remaining wax & re-use your candle container, place the jar in a pot of simmering water. Once all the wax has melted, pour out the wax and remove the wick. Wash with warm, soapy water. Your jar should be as good as new.
