Meet the Maker
Hello my name is Jenna and I'm 52 year old single woman who absolutely loves to create skincare products that nourish both body and soul! I started this journey about 4 years ago creating my own soaps just because I needed something for my skin due to my sensitivity to all the harsh chemicals and detergents that they place in brands that are bought in stores. So I decided I make everything else from scratch I'm going to do my own skincare by making my own soaps. That's where it started, and it's blossomed into Jenna Soaps, where I make all kinds of skincare products now. I find joy and fulfillment in expressing my creativity through my skincare line. Each product I create is a reflection of my belief in self-care and beauty by using nature's gifts to enhance our well-being. I believe that skincare is not just a routine; it's a ritual of love and self-empowerment. So with over 4 years of experience in crafting my own unique recipes, I'm constantly inspired by the transformative power of nature. How it’s Made
I start first by weighing out all of my Butters, oils, and water needed. Then I go and I melt my Butters down and my hard oils to make it more fluid. I then combine the hard oils with the soft oils and a big bowl. Then I add to it my sodium hydroxide solution and start to stick blend. I have to come to trace and then from Trace I then take it and divide it up and color it and fragrance it. Then I take the soap and pour it into the mold by however I'm designing it. The process can take anywhere from an hour to 2 hours to do. I then let the soap sit and set up for 12 to 24 hours. After 24 hours I then take the soap and cut it into loaves. From the loaves I then cut it into single bars. Then I let it sit and cure, after caring I then take it and put it in its package. Then I take the belly band and apply it along with my sticker after printing it out to whichever soap I'm doing. And then it's ready for sale. This soap I actually infused the oil with turmeric root myself before making the soap. I took the root chopped it up finely and added it to the oil and infused it over a couple hours on low heat. Then I let it cool down before adding it to my soap oils and butters.
