About this Product
Handmade Tunisian crochet scarf made from hand-dyed premium (expensive!) wool blend and crocheted in the Tunisian simple stitch with a Tunisian honeycomb stitch border. Scarf is connected at the back so it doesn't fall off every time you switch your bag from one shoulder to the other. The yarn is a #2 weight (fingering) which means it took forever to make this little beauty.
Hand wash and dry flat. Pictures are the actual scarf you will receive but the jacket is mine (not included ;)
Measures approximately 34"x26' and 18" from point to long side. SCARF only.
This scarf is an original piece of wearable art based on a pattern by Toni Lipsey (the Lamia Wrap). The yarn size, color, brand, scarf size and joining are all my own.

How it’s Made
Tunisian crochet uses a long crochet hook and stitches are put on the hook then worked off. Some people say Tunisian is the child of knitting and crochet. It takes quite awhile but results in a really nice fabric. I love to crochet and can't possibly keep all of this stuff myself. I also need money for yarn. You get an original, handmade piece of wearable art and I get to go back to my local yarn store :)
