A very unique and eye catching one-of-a-kind set of jewelry that you will feel lovely when wearing. Everyone will be asking where you got it and you can tell them but you can also tell them that it can't be duplicated because that will be the truth. It is definitely one-of-a-kind that I will never be able to duplicate again. Simply because it is handmade and you cannot copy handmade. I wish I could because I would make one for myself!
Made from a plain block of black clay and some metal leaf flakes of copper, silver and gold. It is silk screened it with two different colors of turquoise and light blue. After cutting the teardrop shapes and curing them, the were coated with UV resin which makes the set waterproof and nearly indestructible. The resin really brings out the colors and gives the pieces an almost 3D look. The backs were left black and coated with UV Resin. So, you can use them as 2 different sets because now they are reversible!
The teardrop pendant is 1-3/4 inches long and 1-1/4 inches wide and hangs from a silver pinch bail on a 22-inch textured antique silver chain. The earrings are 1-inch long and 1/2-inch wide and hang from silver pinch bails and French ear wires.

Hi, I'm Janet, welcome to my shop. I have been designing and making jewelry for almost 20 years and I still love doing it every day. I am always looking for new ideas and my inspiration can come from anywhere.. whether it's a walk on the beach or in a park or just around the neighborhood. Sometimes I will see something like a color or a shape, and I'll think, Wow, that would make some awesome jewelry and I can't wait to get home and get started on it. I have even been known to get up in the middle of the night to start a project so I don't forget it by morning.

And, remember, everything is handmade by me, and, I don't list it in my shop until it's ready to ship so there is NO WAIT TIME. I usually ship out the same day or the next. How it’s Made
The large pendant is made from a block of plain black Polymer clay, I rolled it to a thickness of about 2mm and brushed it with metal leaf flakes of copper, silver and gold. Then I silk screened it with two different colors of turquoise and light blue. I let that dry overnight and then I cut it into the teardrop shapes that I wanted and cured them in my oven. You don't need a kiln to cure Polymer Clay, but, you do need a heat source and you can use your regular oven set to 400 degrees. After they had cured and rested for about 30 minutes, I checked to see if they were done. They were not quite done, so I cured them for another 20 minutes. Then, after they had cured and rested (or cooled) for a while, I decided to coat them with UV Resin. I coated each piece with the resin and cured them under a UV lamp. This process makes the clay pieces waterproof and nearly indestructible. It really brings out the colors and gives the pieces an almost 3D look. I left the backs black and coated them with UV Resin also. This process takes much longer to finish the pieces, but, I think the facts that it waterproofs the pieces and makes them incredibly strong is worth the extra steps and time.
Shop Policies
PROCESSING AND SHIPPING TIMES:
I need very little time to prepare an order because every item listed in my shop is already made and ready to ship. I can usually get your order packed and shipped the same day I receive it. However, if I don't get it until after maybe 2pm Pacific Time, I probably won't get it out until the next day. The only things that will be later shipping are custom made items. The shipping time on those items will vary and will be discussed with you before the item is even made.
DELIVERY TIMES:
I cannot guarantee delivery times right now.. Actual delivery time will depend on the USPS and we all know that our mail system has been hit hard with the COVID-19 Pandemic. Once your package leaves my hands, it is in the hands of the Post Office and we are at their mercy as to when it will be delivered. Usually, the mail is getting back to normal, but, it could always take longer. I will send you a tracking number and you can see exactly where your package is at all times.
RETURNS, EXCHANGES & CANCELLATIONS:
I'm sorry, but, due to the Pandemic, I can not accept returns or exchanges at this time (This may change later), so please read the description carefully of the piece or pieces you are buying.
