About this Product
This one-of-a-kind Kumihimo braided necklace weaves together color, texture, and craftsmanship in perfect harmony. At the center, a beaded focal section combines round and faceted ceramic beads, shimmering teardrops, sleek squares, and tiny seed beads in rich shades of turquoise, green, and black—like a mosaic of ocean and forest hues. The braid flows into a hand-wrapped copper clasp, adding a warm, artisanal touch. Measuring approximately 24", this piece makes a statement without weighing you down—substantial in style, yet light and comfortable for all-day wear.

How it’s Made
Kumihimo is a Japanese braiding technique that dates back at least 1300 years. I created this necklace using traditional corded braiding, adding beads for a focal section in the center. The clasp is handmade of copper wire.
