We cheer, wave foam fingers, paint our faces, and wear our favorite jerseys. Now you can make a headband with your favorite team colors. This double knit headband is super warm and has a classic style, which is perfect for those outdoor games.
The pattern has 7 unisex sizes plus 3 closure techniques. Use any yarn that you want as long as it works well in your machine! This pattern uses your knitting gauge and then simply lookup the row counts on a table for your size and style.
The pattern will explain how to make a simple gauge swatch and measure it. Feel free to ask questions before purchasing this pattern.
Machine:
Use any size machine 22 needle, 32 needle, 40 needle, 46 needle, 48 needle. Machine size determines length of the headband while machine size determines the height.
Skills:
Basic knowledge and experience using the knitting machines is required. Refer to your owner’s manual. Included with this PDF pattern: Instructions, cheat sheet chart with 10 gauge options, a gauge list for recording yarns, and a project sheet for you to keep track of your projects. Instructions for 3 closures are included. A link to my YouTube channel is also included for video instructions.

How it’s Made
You will need your circular knitting machine, waste yarn, and project yarn for this pattern. Yarn can be a #3 or #4 weight yarn or any yarn that works well in your machine. You will also need your standard tool kit of scissors, loom hook, tapestry needle and crochet hook.
