This bowl is for a wood turning hobbyist!!
The blank is from a Catalpa tree. It is roughly 7 and 3/4 in round and 4 3/4 inches tall with a wall thickness of 3/4 of an inch. The tenon is an 1 3/4 inches. It's easy to get ahold of some of the exotic hardwoods but some of the domestic varieties are harder to get a hold of.

This blank has been rough turned from a catalpa tree. It is also been kiln dried.
