*Whipped Soap Base* ~ A creamy, fluffy, and airy formulation created by whipping together various oils, butters, & surfactants (cleansing agents). I make my own base from scratch. SULFATE FREE! I use Sodium cocoyl isethionate (SCI), a gentle surfactant, in my whipped soaps. SCI is derived from coconut oil fatty acids and isethionic acid. SCI is BIODEGRADABLE and an excellent cleansing agent which helps create a rich lather to cleanse the skin while also hydrating it. I chose SCI because it is gentle but so effective!
