Hi! My name is Pyrena from Greek Mythology and means "Red - Fiery"
Pyrena has lovely green hands and a face which has hand painted eyes & mouth - Her cloth body is black cotton with white stripes - Her bent arms have cute elbows and button joints - Her bent legs are also button jointed and all have red buttons - Her hair is a blend of gray wool yarn and a wool blend bumpy yarn in brown and cream

pendant - She is wearing a sexy red glittery skirt with a silver cord tied at the waist - She has a glittery silver band at her neck and at her wrists
She has black faux leather boots which have a glow-in-the-dark spiders and are topped with red tulle bows - She is wearing a black cape with silver spiderwebs - Her hat is black felt with a matching red glitter fabric and accented with more glow-in-the-dark spiders
And
of course she has her special little broom made from a
real tree branch, wrapped in silver ribbon and topped with an awesome
acrylic bead - The broom part is chunky black chenille yarn
Pyrena is 22" long when sitting (from toe to top of hat)

Meet the Maker
I am a mom of 2 and Grandma to 3 precocious little ones! I have crafted my entire life (Thanks, MOM!) and worked the last 16 years in a Tailoring Shop. Now that I am retired, it is time to share my stash of "creations". I sew, knit, crochet and embroider mostly, although I have dabbled in painting some wood crafts and am attempting some jewelry creations. I am an active "scavenger" for vintage fabric, trims, buttons, beads, buckles, baubles and other odd items to use in my creations. Because of this, I rarely make the same item twice the same way. I feel this ensures a type of personalization for each unique customer!
