About this Product

PLEASE READ this full description prior to ordering to make sure you get the right version to fit your Arbor Press. Arbor Press manufacturers can vary in their measurements (even on their own presses) - want to confirm fit prior to ordering? Please check out the UnMinted Arbor Press Ram Size Checker: https://goimagine.com/unminted-arbor-press-ram-size-checker

UnMinted Quick-Change Metal Stamping Jigs are designed to work with Arbor Presses which have an unmodified ram (no openings in the foot of the ram), and while stamping on a flat / level stamping surface.

WILL IT FIT MY ARBOR PRESS? Most 1-Ton Arbor Presses have an advertised 1" ram, but have an actual measurement of 24.5mm (just under 1" square) - if your arbor press ram measures 24.5mm, then you're good to go with the steel collar option. If your ram measures a true 1" (or larger), then you might want to check out the Nylon Locking Strap mount version instead.

The UnMinted Quick-Change Metal Stamping Jig | Arbor Press Ram Edition | Steel Collar Version Includes:

- 1 Solid Nylon UnMinted Quick-Change Metal Stamping Jig with 5 Strong Neodymium Magnets installed (1 on top for mounting assist)

- 1-⅜" Center Bore Steel Collar with 3/16" Threaded Insert

- 3/16" Hex Key

- Instructions Sheet

Jig Dimensions (Excludes Mounting Collar):

Height: 2.48" (63mm)

Width: 1.19" (30mm)

Steel Collar Dimensions:

Outer Width: 2.13" (54mm)

Height: 0.75" (19.1mm)

Inner Bore: 1.375" (34.9mm)

INSTALLING the UnMinted Quick-Change Metal Stamping Arbor Press Jig: Start by lowering the ram of your press and position the steel collar around the foot of the ram. Position the Arbor Press Quick-Change Jig on the ram, then rest the ram down onto the jig using the upper magnet of the jig to help hold it in place. Position the steel collar so that the set screw is facing a flat metal side of your ram (not the nylon of the jig), and lower the steel collar down over the round portion of the jig - this should be a nice, snug fit. With the ram still resting down on the jig and sitting on your flat stamping surface, use the provided 3/16” hex key to tighten the set screw against the side of your ram. You want it snug, but not so tight as to damage the jig.

USING the UnMinted Quick-Change Metal Stamping Arbor Press Jig:

Once your Quick-Change Metal Stamping Jig is installed securely on the ram, then you’re ready for stamping! Snap your metal stamp of choice into the corner pocket against the magnets and position your work piece under the stamp.

- Keeps your metal stamps straight for consistent impressions.

- Allows for easy positioning OVER your work.

- Allows for quick changes between a wide variety of metal stamps of varying shapes and sizes.

- Works with any brand metal stamp (as long as they are magnetic).

The UnMinted Quick-Change Metal Stamping Jigs work with a wide variety of metal stamps in varying shapes and sizes - regardless of brand.

Meet the Maker

Handcrafted coin rings & pendants began as a hobby and quickly became an obsession. From the punches and dies, to annealing and forging, to polishing and antiquing – the process drew me in.

There were a lot of things I like making that custom tools and jigs could help with, so I started designing and making jigs, and then decided to make them available to other makers.

Coins inherently have their own story – their own history. For generations, they’ve been carried, collected, passed down, exchanged and traveled.

Turning coins into jewelry allows us to become part of that story – they travel with us. Whether keepsakes, anniversaries, birthdays, or surprises, the story continues.

Early forms of currency were bits and shapes of silver, they were “UnMinted“ coins. Over the years, they became individualized to people and groups who developed and standardized them.

I like to think that, in a way, we’re going back to the roots.

How it’s Made

I designed these jigs in Shapr3D, and partner with Aeorsport Additive in central Ohio to print them in solid nylon on HP Multi-Jet Fusion 3d Printers.
