The UnMinted Quick-Change Metal Stamping Jig holds your stamps straight, aligned, and flush to your work and steady while stamping for great impressions.
The jig's wide stance allows for 1/4" of clearance over your workpiece, and works with a wide variety of metal stamps in varying shapes and sizes - regardless of brand.
Metal stamping straight lines for Bracelets, Rings, Charms and Blanks has always been a challenge - but, it's no longer a problem! Just tape down any straight edge onto your stamping block, place your stamp of choice in the jig and over your work piece, and tape your work piece in place under the jig. Then, simply use the edge of the jig against your straight edge for quick and easy straight lines as you swap out your stamps!
The jig is designed for both right handed and left handed stamping!
Place the Quick-Change Metal Stamping Jig on your stamping block with it’s 3 feet flat on your block and narrow end up. Snap your metal stamp of choice into the corner pocket against the strong neodymium magnets and position the stamp over your work piece. Place your thumb against the metal stamp and using your stamping method of choice (hammer or arbor press), stamp your impression.
- Keeps your metal stamps straight for consistent impressions.
- Allows for easy positioning OVER your work.
- Allows for quick changes between a wide variety of metal stamps of varying shapes and sizes.
IMPORTANT: It’s important that both your jig and work piece is placed on a flat / level stamping block surface, and that your metal stamp remains vertical at all times in order to avoid slipping.

Meet the Maker
Handcrafted coin rings & pendants began as a hobby and quickly became an obsession. From the punches and dies, to annealing and forging, to polishing and antiquing – the process drew me in.
There were a lot of things I like making that custom tools and jigs could help with, so I started designing and making jigs, and then decided to make them available to other makers.
Coins inherently have their own story – their own history. For generations, they’ve been carried, collected, passed down, exchanged and traveled.
Turning coins into jewelry allows us to become part of that story – they travel with us. Whether keepsakes, anniversaries, birthdays, or surprises, the story continues.
Early forms of currency were bits and shapes of silver, they were “UnMinted“ coins. Over the years, they became individualized to people and groups who developed and standardized them.
I like to think that, in a way, we’re going back to the roots.

How it’s Made
I designed these jigs in Shapr3D, and partner with Aeorsport Additive in central Ohio to print them in solid nylon on HP Multi-Jet Fusion 3d Printers.
