About this Product
A beautiful and vibrant 8x10 fluid art original painting entitled "Up Close and Feathery". Currently, this painting is unsigned, however, should the buyer wish for a signature and date please indicate where on the painting. I am willing to do prints up to size 18x24 for a fraction of the cost of the original and signed if requested. This is a one-of-a-kind fluid art acrylic painting.

Meet the Maker
As an artist, seamstress, and writer I enjoy making homemade and hand-crafted products for others to enjoy. I started drawing at the early age of seven from the TV Guide magazine and won a small scholarship. A graduate of IADT ( International Academy of Design and Technology. My original paintings I submit to other platforms to use as designs for various clothing, accessories, bedding, and other unique items. I prefer making one-of-a-kind items and I also offer prints of my original works as well.
How it’s Made
This particular painting was made with bubble wrap, tape, and a canvas. The technique is quite simple but the trick is to know how and where to place your colors to get certain effects. There is a science to the consistency of the paints used as well as if you want cell effects, as most fluid artists do. This is called a chevron pour. Most people think that this type of painting is not painting at all but just as if you were painting or drawing a person or scenery, you must pay attention to detail for the right output. A mixture of the wrong colors can result in muddy effects. You will never get the same effect from the pour but you can pull several different paintings from a pour that will give you a trio for a nice wall setting.
