From my early days, I was fondly called a "bag lady," pouring my heart into crafting pouches and totes. Alongside my grandmother, I honed my skills, transforming fabric scraps into delightful creations. The hum of the sewing machine became my melody, shaping discarded fabric into new treasures.
Years later, while volunteering at a thrift shop, I encountered abandoned jeans with minor flaws. Instead of letting them go to waste, I decided to breathe new life into them. Thus, ReJeaneration was born, with each tote narrating a unique tale through its patchwork past.

How it’s Made
The denim used for these bags is sourced from thrift stores or second-hand shops, often from well-loved, worn-out jeans. After being thoroughly washed, the intricate process of delicately deconstructing them stitch by stitch begins. Every bit of the original stitching is carefully removed. Following this, I meticulously plan, cut, and piece together the denim using specialized thread for sewing denim. To provide added structure and support, as well as a distinctive feature, the outer shell of the bag is reinforced with a fabric stabilizer. Whenever possible, the inner lining is crafted from reclaimed materials as well, typically sturdy cotton canvas. A sturdy magnetic snap is then attached to a denim strip on the front, and a small interior pocket is included. Each bag demands a considerable amount of time and is truly a labor of love.
