Hey there, Lovely souls! I'm Bunny, the heart and hands behind Saturday Child Designs where we're all about embracing individuality and expressing yourself though artful fashion. Allow me to share a bit about my journey.
Back in 2008, when the economy took a tumble, I faced the challenging decision to close my beloved gift and quilt shop, leaving behind my cherished log home near Yosemite. It was a period of reinvention, a path to putting my life back together. Through it all, sewing became my sanctuary, my happy place! It's where I find freedom, creativity, and pure joy. The fabrics I work with seem to speak to me, guiding each design in unexpected and beautiful ways. I start with an idea, and before I know it, I'm on a completely new path.
I have a deep love for upcycling - there's just something magical about breathing new life into forgotten pieces. thrift store finds, vintage linens, and a treasure trove of ribbons and lace fill my sewing studio, nestled in the serene beauty of the Pacific Northwest.
Every piece I create is a unique, one-of-a-kind creation. Today, I'm so grateful to be here, sharing my artistry with all of you. Your support fuels my inspiration and efforts, and for that, I'm endlessly thankful.
