About this Product

Oh, off on another adventure are you, friend? To the vale, you say? Well, then you must be passing through the Mark, home of the Horse Lords!

This candle will transport you to my favorite kingdom in Middle Earth! Thick, bittersweet molasses, rolled oats, wheat fields, and barley all come together in a sweet yet hearty fragrance. If you are a horse person or spent any time in a barn, this scent will probably remind you of opening a fresh bag of sweet feed.
A kingdom of horse people is probably a very crazy place (do they argue about equine nutrition there, too? WE BET THEY DO! ) but life on horseback wouldn't be so bad. =) Think about all the golden fields to race through and chase the sun.

Scent: Molasses, Oats, Barely, Hay, Honey, Grass -- smells very close to opening a fresh bag of feed! (for you non-horse people, this is like...one of the greatest smells on earth, second only to a clean barn with fresh sawdust and spring hay!)
Strength: Strong Medium ????????????

Fun NERDY Factoid:
Where now the horse and the rider? Where is the horn that was blowing?
Where is the helm and the hauberk, and the bright hair flowing?
Where is the hand on the harpstring, and the red fire glowing?
Where is the spring and the harvest and the tall corn growing?
They have passed like rain on the mountain, like a wind in the meadow;
The days have gone down in the West behind the hills into shadow.
Who shall gather the smoke of the dead wood burning,
Or behold the flowing years from the Sea returning?

-- Aragorn, Lord of the Rings

In the movies, Theoden is who you hear recite some of this poem, but in the books it is Aragorn who speaks it. It is not a poem written by either character, but it is beautiful and a wonderful little detail of the world that Tolkien created. There is something to be said of writing that can transport you to some other place; like cracking open a book is a window into another world that exists and you are only viewing a small part of it.. These works will always have my whole heart.
