About this Product

This Beautiful Variegated Hand-Stitched Monstera is such a unique beauty that will brighten up any room. Low Maintenance - This is the perfect plant to have in your office or small business! Leave the stress behind of watering plants and keeping up with their care.

There is over 20 hours of work dedicated to this unique plant. I used Cotton Thread for the leaves. There are 9 leaves - 3 Variegated, 2 light green, 4 dark green. Each leaf has wire attached and is wrapped with cotton thread. The leaves with stems are removable and can be arranged however you desire!

The pot is made from super plush yarn in a earth toned blue. Ivory macrame cording was used to create the look around the edges of the planter and the top of the pot. I used a puff stitch, which provides holes for easy assembling of your leaves!

The plant will arrive outside of the pot, and you will need to assemble. This is so that the plant arrives to you safely! The leaves are also lined with wire so you can gently bend and shape them!

The plant inside the pot measures roughly 15" Tall and 10" Wide. The leaves are as wide as my hand when stretched open.

Note:

The pot can be squished due to being hollow, but any dents can be popped back out easily! Simply insert a chop stick or similar device in between the stitches and push on the wall. However, the pot itself is made of thick yarn and doesn't easily squish unless force is used. In order for the stems to be inserted and arranged, this technique is necessary.

Meet the Maker

Hello, and welcome to WeirUnique! My name is Angel, and I am the one behind-the-scenes hand-stitching unique plants and jewelry! I started fiber art over a decade ago, but in the Fall of 2022, I started taking crochet to a whole new level. I thought at first that crochet meant that I was going to make hats, blankets, washcloths, and shawls. However, I always like to stand out, and sometimes that means stepping outside of the box. My long love for plants and fiber art mashed together, and I came up with my Spider Plant design! The rest is history! I get my inspiration from the beauty that surrounds me provided by mother nature. I started off with hanging plants, but I have recently added car accessories, home decor, and jewelry.

Whenever I'm not working with fiber art I am spending time with my husband and two children. We spend a lot of time in nature and just enjoying all of the neat places that are tucked away and hidden.

I hope you find something in my shop that is just as unique as we ALL are! My creations are all one-of-a-kind conversation starters that can decorate your home or office, or even as a gift for the special someone in your life!
