JYL of ALL Trades
Meet the Maker
Hi, my name is Jyl, and for as long as I can remember, I've always been a JYL of ALL Trades! I have always been creative and love trying my hand at new crafts and trying new projects, but I love the ability to support causes that I care about, even MORE!
The reason I chose to open my shop on GoImagine, is because I love that 100% of the Transaction Fees that they take from the sale of your purchase are donated to their two charity partners: Horizons for Homeless Children (www.horizonschildren.org) and Relief Nursery (https://reliefnursery.org).
I will be adding more of my products over time, and depending on what product of mine you purchase, I will donate a portion of my profits to a corresponding organization so your purchase will go on to do more good work. At the end of each month, I will update the amounts donated here.
These are the amongst the various organizations that I will be donating to:
- P.E.O. International, Chapter ON, Vallejo, CA. P.E.O. is a U.S.-based international women's organization of about 230,000 members, with a primary focus on providing educational opportunities for female students worldwide via scholarships and grants. I have been a member of this chapter since 2013, thanks to my childhood hero, Dr. Helyn Luechauer, DDS, who had been a champion of what women can do for as long as I can remember. She was a huge support to me as a teenager when she was my dentist, and years later when I reconnected with her, she introduced me to the P.E.O. Organization.
Total Donations to Date:
As of 5/5/2023, I have donated $170.00 from my T-shirt sales to the Napa-Solano Scholarship to help local women pursue higher education. (https://www.facebook.com/PEO-Chapter-ON-Vallejo-California-105415022104776)
Shop Policies
Processing Time:
Many items in my shop, like t-shirts and totes, are made to order. On those items the approximate ship out time frame is up to 10 business days, depending on how busy I am. I try to ship as fast as possible, and often your order will be sent out sooner.
Some items are ready to ship. Those I will ship out within 1-5 business days.
If you absolutely need something sooner, please contact me before ordering and I will see if its possible for me to get it to you by the date needed.
Returns and Exchanges:
Please follow these guidelines for returns:
•Contact me within 5 days of delivery;
•Ship items back within 7 days of contacting me. Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs;
•Request a cancellation within 5 hours of purchase.
Because of the nature of custom items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I cannot accept returns for custom or personalized orders. I will print exactly what you approved, so pay particular attention to typos or errors.
If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may return unworn merchandise in its original condition within 10 days of delivery date for an exchange or refund.
Credits will be issued in the same manner as payment was made, once I receive your returned item.
Please allow me 1-2 business days for your return to be processed. Initial shipping fees as well as return and exchange shipping costs are not refundable. Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs.
Returns made after the 10 day return period, or are in unsellable condition are not returnable.
In the unlikely event that we have inadvertently sent you incorrect merchandise or you received damaged merchandise, please notify me immediately.
Shipping:
I ship first class mail (tracking is automatic) via United States Postal Service. In the fall of 2021, the USPS raised rates and purposely slowed its delivery system as part of its business strategy. I understand the frustration that these delays may cause. Since I have no control over the USPS, I cannot issue a refund while your package is in transit. USPS considers a package lost after 30 days. If it gets hung up in the "in transit" black hole please message me with details and I'll do my best to track down your package.

Note that computer monitors vary in the way they represent color. What you see on your screen may differ slightly from the art piece you receive. Fabric colors may differ, ornaments may have dimples or slight bumps from the glazing process and those should not be considered flaws.
I do my very best to be a perfectionist, but slight variations are to be expected and appreciated as part of the hand-made process.
