The newest version of the Birchouse Woodcrafts Viking Shield, these authentically built shields are as close as you can get to the real thing!
This shield measures 33.5 inches and is made from butted fir planks that are chamfered along the edge of the shield. Reinforced with a rawhide edge, it features a faceted handle made from durable Ash. The facing is painted using period appropriate colors and design. The central boss and rivets are hand forged by Uggla's Night Forge.
