Peachy vintage quilt baskets! These baskets are made from a wedding ring quilt with possible feed sack material. Each one is just a little bit different, but all of them are beautiful. I used plain, peach cotton fabric for the lining. I love these baskets a bit slouchy, so I did not use interfacing. The seam binding at the top is all handsewn. It took time, but I enjoyed doing it. The handles are also from the quilt. The bottoms are all made with saddle brown waxed canvas for durability and structure - and it looks kind of cool!
The price is for one (1) basket. Dimensions are 7-1/4" tall and 6-1/4" in diameter. Handles are 14" long from end to end.
*Please note that all of my items are made with vintage and antique materials and may have stains, small rips, etc. The fabrics are old and show signs of wear, in most cases.

Meet the Maker
Hello! Welcome to my shop! My mom taught me to sew in the early 80's. I made a lot of my clothes back then. By the mid-90s, I realized I had a love of vintage and antique things. I found ways to use repurpose the "junk" as decor. In 2019, I started buying and reselling vintage finds and hand painted furniture. In July of 2024, I made a hard right turn and started collecting cutter quilts, old grain and feed sacks and other vintage material, then hauled out the sewing machine and went to work. I am a repurposer at heart. I love turning what is no longer serviceable as it is, into something pretty and useful.
I live in rural SE Ohio, part of the Appalachians. I love living almost in the middle of nowhere and being able to say, "I have to run to town". I enjoy hitting flea markets and estate sales with my husband, spending time in the garden and behind the camera, and hanging with my fur kids.
