About this Product

Give her (or yourself!!) a gorgeous gift of broken china jewelry with this vintage chinoiserie china necklace from eclectiQuas. Full of sacred symbolism, this exquisite blue and white china necklace features a fine sterling silver chain, and a vintage tree of life pendant handmade with upcycled Blue Willow china and an oval silver setting. The tree of life is a fundamental and widespread symbol throughout the world's many religious and philosophical traditions, representing strength, ancestry and family, individuality, immortality, connection and peace. With its intricate Blue Willow tree motif, as well as a deep symbolism and meaning, this blue Transferware china jewelry item makes a special and memorable 9th anniversary gift (Willow and/or pottery)!

All of our jewelry is one-of-a-kind or limited production, and made from antique bone china or vintage porcelain. Your eclectiQuas purchase includes our signature packaging: a shiny white box complete with an indigo ribbon, and a decorative fabric strip inside each box which corresponds to the design and color of your item (see packaging photo). For special gifts, we offer a personalized handwritten gift card, and request that you provide your name, the gift recipient’s name, the occasion (if applicable), and your message. For holiday gifts, please specify an indigo or red ribbon.

Meet the Maker

Hailing from the worlds of fashion design and apparel manufacturing, set and costume design, Fine Art and the creation of her own biomorphic wall sculptures, Erika Garell, couldn’t be more excited about her newest creative adventure, eclectiQuas.

eclectiQuas style was born from a diverse combination of Erika’s artistic interests and cultural influences. Over the course of her creative life, Erika has developed a unique bicultural aesthetic as a half Japanese, half British-American woman, that she embraces in her work as both an artist and designer. Erika has always been fascinated by the Japanese and English sensibilities as they relate to chinaware, and in particular, the crossover of the two aesthetics through Imari china. The rich colors, unlikely color combinations, intricate patterns, use of gold and silver, and beautiful composition of each plate influence the design and uniqueness of each piece of eclectiQuas jewelry.

Erika is excited to participate in the goimagine marketplace by contributing to and learning from this talented community of handmade artists and makers, while embracing and supporting goimagine's mission to support charities that prioritize children in need.
