About this Product
Part of my "Put a Bird on it" series, this is an original 9x12" mixed media painting featuring a Wallcreeper, a bird that lives on cliffs in Eurasia and is known for its distinctive 'creeping' behavior and bright plumage.

How it’s Made
This painting has a textured background made from collage/paper-mache rice paper and acrylic paint on clayboard. The bird was painted in watercolor and ink on paper and is mounted with a slight 1/8" gap to give it the appearance of perching on the rock face.
