About this Product
This walnut wood tray is handmade with repurposed wood from an antique organ. It is a great desk accessory to hold keys, glasses, pens, a cell phone, your watch, jewelry, cell phone or anything else that you would like to store in it. It is a great valet box for men and a great catchall tray.
The trays outside dimensions are 4 inches wide; 8 inches long and 1 5/8 inches tall. The inside dimensions are 3 3/16 inches wide; 7 1/8 inches long and 1 3/8 inches deep. Because this is made from repurposed wood you may see some small nail holes in the wood which adds to the character of this piece. The corners of this tray have been mitered and then rounded by hand, and the outside edge of the tray has also been rounded by hand. The inside wood base has been inserted into the frame of the tray, and this has all been done by hand. This piece has a lacquer satin finish applied to it which was then hand rubbed to a smooth finish. Like any wood product, the grain and color varies. The frame is made from walnut wood and the tray base has been stained to match the walnut color. All of this wood is from the same antique organ. This would make a great accessory for your desk or entrance table.

Meet the Maker
I enjoy working with wood and providing items that can be used in your home. I have worked with wood most of my life as a hobby, but now that I am a semi-retired minister, I enjoy working with the wood more often. I want to make things that people can use in their homes and not just for display. Each piece is made by hand, I have no CNC machine or computer guiding the shaping of each product, every step is done in my shop with my hands guiding each tool I use to make each item.
