Our magic wand holsters are designed to carry wands utility style; hanging straight down from a belt. Fits wands up to ~3/8" wide shaft and are made to fit Nemesis Gear wands. (Not recommended for our Dueling Wands due to wire guards.)
**To check the fit for your own wand, try using a standard round Sharpie marker. Wrap a strip of paper around the marker and make a loop. If your wand is too big for the loop, it will not fit the holster.**
Holster will fit up to a 2" wide belt and can be made to fit larger belts by request. Holster is made from a 5-6 oz. veg tan leather and dyed and painted to customers wishes. Customers may choose the base leather dye colors (for the backing strap) as well as the optional accent trim color (for the wand loop). Base leather colors can be solid or a "fade" to near black around the edges of the main backing strap. The Wand loop can be a matching solid color or fade (choose "Match the Base Color"), Solid Black, or either bronze, gold, or silver paint accent colors can be applied to the edges of the wand loop. All example holsters pictured are solid colors with gold or silver paint accent colors.
A note on yellow and black dye: I have not included "Yellow Fade" in the color options because black and yellow dye do not play well together. To get a fade, the base color is first applied and then black dye is sprayed over the base color along the edges. Black dye is very blue dominated and when it's sprayed over yellow and then buffed, the yellow tends to get a dingy, muddy green cast. If you're trying to get Hufflepuff colors, we recommend going with a solid yellow base color and a solid black wand loop. Or just a solid black with gold accents.
**Need a holster for your Wizarding World Wand? WW wands come in a huge range of shapes and sizes, but most are thicker at the base of the blade than the wands I make. As such, they are not likely to fit the holsters in this listing. To check, compare your wand to a Sharpie marker. If the wand is bigger than a Sharpie, it will NOT fit in the holster from this listing. I'm happy to discuss custom options if you would like a holster built to fit your wand. Meet the Maker
I've been a maker since I was a kid, my dad being a mechanic, wood crafter, and all around handyman; I grew up learning to use a variety of tools. As an art major I learned a variety of additional skills, sculpting, painting, pottery, and jewelry. I started playing with leather in the late 90's and spent 23 years in the mid 2000's traveling the country working at Renaissance/Medieval Faires. Then in 2010 I settled down in north Idaho, and soon after opened my first Etsy shop making and selling steampunk goods. I sell in person at several events in the northwest US region, and as the popularity of steampunk waned, I continued to broaden my cosplay prop and accessory line to include several genera in the sci-fi/fantasy realm. Our brands now include Steampunked Out (steampunk goods made from leather, brass and/or wood), Nemesis Gear (general hero/villain and fantasy leather accessories), and Nox Hollow (our brand for handcrafted magic wands made from more than 30 different woods). I'm always making new items and playing with new ideas. While I do get inspiration from movies/TV and the wide world of cosplay, I design and make everything myself from the start and do not use any store bought patterns. Shop Policies
Processing Time:
We try to stay on top of order and usually start working on "Made to Order" items within 24 hours of receiving them. Typically it take 3-5 business days to finish an item and pack it for shipping to allow leather dyes and finishes to fully dry if necessary. "Ready to Ship" items are usually packaged and shipped within 1-3 business days. During convention season, we may be out of town working at an event which will extend the production time of "Made to Order" items. We may also have slow downs during high volume such as the weeks leading up to Halloween. Orders made during these times will be made and shipped as soon as possible and we will update the shop announcements to let buyers know we require more time to process and ship orders. Please contact us about rush orders before ordering.
Returns and Exchanges: "Made to Order" and "Ready to Ship"
"Made to Order" items are any item with multiple size/color/style options and include most leather goods. Due to the number of possible combinations, we cannot* offer returns or exchanges on any item that is "Made to Order". Items will be made to the specified options requested by the buyer, so please read the descriptions to be sure you are selecting the correct options when ordering.
"Ready to Ship" items are those that are already made such as magic wands or one of prototypes. The items pictured is the one being ordered and cannot be customized. We only offer exchanges on these items within the first 30 days from the date shipped. Shipping fees for returns are the responsibility of the buyer*. Please read descriptions carefully to be sure you are ordering the item you want.
* Any mistake on our end can be exchanged at no additional cost. If we have not made an item correctly or sent the wrong item, please contact us to arrange a return and exchange.
We are not able to offer refunds. Any concerns about fit, color, or other questions should be addressed before ordering.
Shipping:
We ship using USPS. Packages are insured up to $100. If your order is over $100, you may consider purchasing additional insurance. We will provide a tracking # for each order and are not responsible for lost or damaged packages. Ground Advantage shipments usually take 2-5 days and Priority Mail usually take 1-3 days to arrive. We copy and paste the shipping address provided. Any item returned as undeliverable will not be refunded so please double check you shipping address. Buyer is responsible for additional shipping for any items that are undeliverable.
Cancelations:
"Ready to Ship" items may be canceled up until the item is shipped. Once shipped, buyer my return for an exchange only. "Made to Order" items can be canceled up until production is started. Once the leather is cut (or base material is transformed in any way), we cannot cancel the order.

Warranty:
We take great care in making products intended to last for years or normal use and offer a "Life of the Product" warranty. We will happily repair or replace any item deemed defective* for no cost (item must be returned for inspection). We are also happy to repair minor issues such as a popped rivet or worn out snap for minimal charge. "Life of the Product" means until the product is "worn out" from normal use.
*We reserve the right to determine if a product is "defective" or has been damaged through misuse.
Liability:
Buyer is expected to use props in a safe way and/or wear articles in a comfortable/safe fashion. All items purchased are used at the buyers risk and we assume no responsibility for damage or injury caused by the use (or misuse) of any item.
