Watercolor portrait painted from your favorite photograph! I paint 100% by hand from a sketch on paper with paint. This is for a hand-painted watercolor painting, no computer involved.
Turnaround time is a few days if I don't have any other orders in line, otherwise, I'll let you know where you are on the schedule. I book out fast for Mother's Day and Christmas.
These make a beautiful and personal mother's day gift, grandparents' gift, 1st birthday, housewarming, graduation, anniversary, wedding, etc. Basically, I can make a gorgeous painting from any favorite photo for any occasion.
I send a picture of the finished product before I send it to be sure you love it!
Prices are for a plain or simple background, let me know if you want a more detailed background included, and I'll be happy to help.
*PLUS* In addition to the original watercolor painting sent in the mail, I can create a digital file for you from a high-quality photo of the artwork for no additional cost! The digital files are great for turning into wedding announcements, birth announcements, graduation announcements, thank you cards, or invitations. Non-commercial use only, please let me know if you're interested before I ship the painting.

Your painting may be used for example images and portfolio showcase. If you would prefer that your painting not be used to model my style, please let me know.
I do not accept returns on custom portraits, but I will not call it done until everyone is completely satisfied with their order, and as with every order I receive, each is painted with love and care.

Taryn Skipper has been painting for over 20 years and selling her art professionally for close to a decade. She works primarily in watercolor and in oils. She creates in all sizes, from miniature art set into wearable settings to large canvas pieces. She also enjoys reading, writing, travel and real estate, and trains in martial arts with her daughter. She loves living in Colorful Colorado with her family of five.
