Wenge & Maple Memory Box- This is a special box! The Wenge wood is a perfect rift sawn and the grain as straight as can be! not a normal find at the lumber yard but when I saw it I had to get it! Wenge is a wood that comes from central Africa. it is considered a premium wood and is very pricey. many who have worked this wood will tell you it is not easy to work and they are right! But it's worth the effort and cost when you get a beautiful box like this. I hope that the grain and contrasting woods catch your eye and make the perfect place to store something special to you! This is definitely a box worthy of decor on a mantel, shelf, sideboard table or where ever you can see it in your space!
