About this Product
This SheaClay "grande" sized ceramic coffee or tea cup is an excellent choice for anyone who loves a generous dose of their favorite hot beverage in the mornings. Each mug is hand-thrown and glazed by skilled potter, Tracy Shea, ensuring a high quality artisan vessel that you'll cherish for years to come. Whether you're treating yourself or gifting to a friend, this is a mug that won't disappoint. There is so much visual texture and the smooth glossy glaze feels fantastic in your hands. These mugs are created from earthy, speckled brown stoneware clay with a carved wavy texture that feels great and gives the flowing glaze plenty of opportunities to move and change color. It is light weight for its size and has a roomy handle, suitable for a well balanced comfortable fist grip. These thoughtful and unique gifts measure approximately 5" high and are 3 1/4" wide at the rim. They hold 18-22 ounces. Sizes are approximate and each mug is slightly different- skillfully handmade to match but not exact. Each cup is hand dipped in studio made glaze and fired to over 2200 degrees. They are food safe and can be used in the dishwasher and microwave every day. Shipping is included. These are in stock and will go out right away.
